Organised by ESA Saint-Luc Liège, these study days will examine the potential for cross-disciplinary collaboration between students, teachers and researchers in order to work on projects addressing societal issues. The workshop will examine the added value of collective projects between art and design schools, universities and other higher education institutions.

In the process of shaping our upcoming post-graduate degree, we are looking to collectively explore different approaches that rely on mixed (hybrid) methods to tackle cross-disciplinary projects. In doing so we seek to answer the following questions:

How can research-creation contribute to project emanating from the academic world and vice-versa? How can we work together to formulate innovative proposals and solutions that serve the common good? What would our ideal training programme look like? How can we support the experimentation and the development of cross-disciplinary skills?
